05.24 Summer evening by the river

A landscape in oils on canvas painted by Russian artist Nicolai Alexeyevich Pinginin (1933 – 2013). Signed in cyrillic and dated 2001. Framed. 53 cm high by 74 cm wide.
This picture, together with 05.25 - ‘Snowy landscape’, were bought in distressd condition as a loose canvases at a ‘without reserve’ sale at Bonham’s saleroom in Knightsbridge in the summer of 2005. They have been properly stretchered and framed, and are worthy examples of contemporary Russian art. I have not been able to find any details about the artist or his other work.

Esta imagen, junto con la de la obra 05.25 - 'Paisaje nevado', se compraron en mal estado como lienzos sueltos en una venta 'sin reserva' en la sala de ventas de Bonham, en Knightsbridge, en el verano de 2005. Se han ajustado y enmarcado correctamente, y son dignos ejemplos de arte ruso contemporáneo. No he podido encontrar ningún detalle sobre el artista o su otro trabajo.
