05.30 Moored river boat

This picture, in oils on board, was painted by Dutch artist Bernard Boeziek (1877 to 1954). It is signed and dated 1925. Framed. 30 cm high by 52 cm wide. 

Bernardus Johannes Boeziek was born in Amsterdam in 1877. He studied at the Rijks Academy and worked in Holland both as a painter and ceramicist. Written on the back is the word Senn – maybe a place name of where the picture was painted. We  bought this at a ‘without reserve’ sale at Bonhams in Knightsbridge on the 9th August 2005. (Sale 13343 Lot 510)

Este cuadro, óleo sobre tabla, fue pintado por el artista holandés Bernard Boeziek (1877 a 1954). Está firmado y fechado en 1925. Enmarcado. 30 cm de alto por 52 cm de ancho. 

Bernardus Johannes Boeziek nació en Ámsterdam en 1877. Estudió en la Academia Rijks y trabajó en Holanda como pintor y ceramista. En el reverso está escrita la palabra Senn, tal vez el nombre del lugar donde se pintó el cuadro. Compramos esto en una venta 'sin reserva' en Bonhams en Knightsbridge el 9 de agosto de 2005.
