12 dessert plates and 3 dishes made in English glazed china, with hand painted scenes of the Scottish Highlands, attributed to Copeland and Garrett, mid-nineteenth century. The plates and the two smaller dishes have a diameter of 23 cm, the larger dish has a diameter of 28 cm. and a height of 17 cm. 

We bought this set of 12 gilt rimmed, scallop edged plates and three cake stands from James Reeve at Quinney’s Antiques, 9 Church Street, Warwick in June 2005. They bear the pattern number 3968, and are attributed to the well-known Stoke-on-Trent manufacturer Copeland and Garrett. They are decorated with hand painted scenes of popular scenes of lochs, falls, castle and mountains in the Scottish Highlands as follows :- 

Plates: Falls of Allen, Invergarry Castle, Loch Etive            Loch Katrine, Ranza Castle, Ben Nevis, The Trossachs, Castle Craig, Falls of Tummel, Lake Menteith, Loch Long, Loch Lomond 

Cakestands: Ben Lomand, Loch McCree, Loch Earn.

12 platos de postre y 3 platos para tarta fabricados en porcelana esmaltada inglesa, con escenas pintadas a mano de las Tierras Altas de Escocia, atribuidas a Copeland y Garrett, de mediados del siglo XIX. Los platos de postre y los dos platos para tarta más pequeños tienen un diámetro de 23 cm y el plato más grande tiene un diámetro de 28 cm y una altura de 17 cm.

Compramos este juego de 12 platos con bordes dorados y festoneados y tres platos para tarta a James Reeve en Quinney's Antiques, en Church Street 9, Warwick, en junio de 2005. Llevan el patrón número 3968 y se atribuyen al conocido fabricante de Stoke-on-Trent Copeland y Garrett. Están decoradas con escenas pintadas a mano de imágenes populares de lagos, cascadas, castillos y montañas en las Tierras Altas de Escocia de la siguiente manera:  

Platos: Cascadas de Allen, Castillo de Invergarry, Lago Etive, Lago Katrine, Castillo Ranz, Ben Nevis, Los Trossachs, Castillo de Craig, Cataratas de Tummel, Lago Menteith, Lago Long, Lago Lomond.

Tartas: Ben Lomand, Loch McCree, Lago Earn.
